Arrival at Srinagar Airport Pickup: Arrive at Sheikh ul-Alam International Airport (Srinagar). Your driver will greet you and escort you to your hotel for check-in. Srinagar Sightseeing Mughal Gardens: Begin with the famous Mughal Gardens. Shalimar Bagh: Known as the “Abode of Love” for its historical Mughal charm. Nishat Bagh: The “Garden of Bliss” offers stunning views of Dal Lake and the surrounding mountains. Chashme Shahi: Visit this garden to see its spring-fed fountains, known for their refreshing water. Hazratbal Shrine: Visit the beautiful Hazratbal Shrine on Dal Lake's northern shore, a serene spot with deep cultural significance. Shikara Ride on Dal Lake Evening Shikara Ride: Enjoy a scenic Shikara ride on Dal Lake, floating past houseboats, lotus gardens, and the famous floating market. Shopping Opportunity: Pick up local handicrafts, saffron, or embroidered shawls at the floating market. Overnight Stay: Hotel in Srinagar.
Morning Drive to Gulmarg Scenic Drive: Head out after breakfast to the hill station of Gulmarg, known for its beautiful landscapes and winter sports. Activities in Gulmarg Gondola Ride: Take a thrilling Gondola (cable car) ride up to Kongdoori or even higher to Apharwat Peak, which offers panoramic views and snowy peaks (seasonal skiing available in winter). Golf Course: Visit the Gulmarg Golf Course, one of the highest in the world, or stroll around the meadows for stunning views. Optional Activities: Try pony rides, sledding, or enjoy the beauty of the wildflowers and verdant landscapes in spring and summer. Drive to Sonamarg Early Departure: After breakfast, take a scenic drive to Sonamarg, known as the “Meadow of Gold.” Exploring Sonamarg Thajiwas Glacier: You can take a pony ride or trek to Thajiwas Glacier, surrounded by stunning snow-covered peaks. It’s a beautiful spot for photos and, in winter, offers snow activities. Sindh River: Relax by the Sindh River, where you can enjoy trout fishing (with permission) or simply take a scenic walk. Zojila Pass (Optional): If open, visit Zojila Pass for breathtaking mountain views (available only in summer). Return to Srinagar Evening Drive Back: Return to your hotel in Srinagar for dinner and a relaxing evening. Overnight Stay: Hotel in Srinagar.
Morning Departure to Pahalgam Scenic Drive: Depart after breakfast for Pahalgam, a beautiful valley known for its lush meadows and crystal-clear Lidder River. En Route Sightseeing Awantipora Ruins: Visit the historic ruins of a 9th-century temple complex dedicated to Vishnu. Saffron Fields (Seasonal): During the saffron harvest season, you may catch sight of the beautiful fields along the way. Explore Pahalgam Betaab Valley: Named after the Bollywood movie “Betaab,” this valley is surrounded by lush greenery, crystal-clear streams, and dense deodar forests.
